5月30日, 澳洲新南威爾斯大學 (UNSW) 香港校友會於廣東惠陽棕櫚島舉辦校友聯誼及高爾夫球賽活動。是次活動吸引到二十多名校友與他們的家人和朋友參加。橙色空間很榮幸贊助今次的活動

單車收藏

徐先生與太太於零六年開始接觸單車這門玩意, 由初學者入門到熱愛單車成了“發燒友”. 只是一直以來 “收藏” 這個問題還是頗讓他們頭痛.

一次偶然乘巴士經過大圍橙色空間, 夫婦好奇地討論這座外牆顏色鮮艷的大廈.

經致電查詢後被“自置物業”這個賣點吸引到來參觀. 之後還即時把愛驅送進來呢! 不經不覺已兩年了.

自置物業”究竟有多重要?

徐先生: 首先, “自置物業”可以給我信心, 始終是大規模吧! 還有廿四小時保安巡邏. 要這樣我才可以安心地不斷為愛驅添置更好的零件.

還有, 比坊間一般在工廈設立的公司更靈活. 聽過很多遍, 那些所謂的廿四小時出入. 原來是要視乎該大廈的規定, 實際上等於形同虛設; 非自置物業限制也多.

雖然橙色空間不是廿四小時出入, 但是卻因為“自置物業” 所以可因應客人需求而作出更改,

例如每年在大埔舉行的“單車百萬行”, 每次舉行定必於早上六時前封路. 試問住在市區而沒有駕車的我們如果要參加, 要怎樣把車運到比賽場地? 又或者, 已租倉者如果沒有廿四小時出入, 又可以怎樣取車呢? 所以你們可以做到這點真是既方便又安全. 還有濕度控制也很重要, 可以令車身不會容易生銹, 配件更耐用.

認為我們還有什麼可以改進嗎?

徐先生: 大致上沒有, 其實已經很滿意. 以迷你倉來說你們的配套已十分完善. 可能因為我們每星期都來, 已經視這裡為另一個家, 很有親切感. 要說嘛?就應該多賣廣告讓更多有需要的人認識. 要知道其實有太多朋友想買車, 只是家中沒有空位而已.

最後, 為免悲劇發生徐先生還叮囑大家踏單車時請謹記佩帶頭盔!

2010年度半島青年商會會長 - 陳玉桂 (中)

 我們今次要介紹的客戶是半島青年商會.

半島青年商會(下稱PJC) – 成立於1969年,為一個致力培育青年領袖的非牟利國際組織, 透過策劃多元化的工作計劃及訓練課程, 提供自我改善, 管理及領導技巧的學習機會, 從而培育成為明白領袖, 並肩負公民責任關懷社會,秉承著「服務社會, 訓練自己」 的宗旨, JCI國際青年商會「香港總會」的成員之一, 在香港的總會周年大會, 亞太大會及世界大會屢穫獎項。

BO: 貴公司已選用橙色空間超過兩年, 請問我們服務有否為貴公司帶來方便?

PJC: 絕對有! 由於PJC每年都會更新會員，所以存儲物品於橙色空間可以幫助我們保留商會的連續性. 而很多會員都會因為各種不同的原因需要出入倉庫， 橙色空間先進的出入系統及出入時間可以方便我們有一個集合點,相比起將物件儲放於會員家中.真的方便了很多! 其實JCI 在選用橙色空間前, 一直是租用一個類似會所的單位作存倉用途, 但所有東西都要自家打理, 很不方便, 但橙色空間可以幫助我們省略了很多此方面的煩惱 – 例如清潔, 保安管理, 令我們可以省卻了有關方面的費用及時間。

BO: 其實放於倉庫內的是什麼物品?

PJC: 種類很多, 如一些活動的紀念品, 又或是來自世界各國分會的一些收藏品, 以及一些工作建議書, 文件等等, 對我們而言, 全是一些JCI內有紀念性的「歷史文物」。

BO: 你們認為迷你倉是否適用於香港市場?

PJC: 是! 對我公司而言, 迷你倉的確為我們帶來很多方便, 即使對個人, 也有多好處, 最明顯的例子, 應該是裝修搬屋吧, 以前未有迷你倉, 如有裝修及搬屋, 可能要將傢俬雜物放於朋友家中, 但此舉真的會帶來很多不便, 迷你倉可以避免了不必要的尷尬。

BO: 那麼貴公司會介紹橙色空間給你們的朋友或工作上的合作顆伴?

JCI: 會! 其實我們一直都有不斷介紹其他人選用橙色空間。

當初知道要做一篇關於客戶的訪問,我們全體職員都想起陳生,只是想到陳生性格內歛,可能未必會願意,誰知他一口便答應了,我約了他在其倉庫前等候,一上到其倉庫,令我驚喜萬分,他把貨品排列得整整齊齊,好供我拍照,又從中抽出了幾款貨品向我作出介紹,平時沉默的他,變得滔滔不絕.

以下是我們的談話內容:
K: 當初橙色空間仍未正式開業, 你已選用我們, 其實你怎樣找到我們呢?
C: 因為當時我的家已沒有位置放我的貨品, 所以想起租用迷你倉.有一日經過和宜合道,見到一座大廈全棟剛改建,細看之下原來就是一間新開的迷你倉,便抄低了電話,最好是這裡很方便,而且近我住所.

K: 那麼最後是什麼原因令你決定租用橙色空間呢?
C: 我打電話查詢過後, 你們邀請我前來參觀, 參觀完畢, 我發覺這裡真的很方便,而且價格相當相宜.

K: 我知你租用橙色空間是用作放模型之用,可否介紹一下?
C: 我定期會去日本入貨, 然後將貨品儲存於橙色空間, 再透過網上平臺, 將貨品賣給世界各地的買家.

當時出產時售價是相等於HK$3500,但如今已升值至四千幾美元,相等於HK$35000. 升值近十倍.而且據陳生所言, 全歐洲的收藏家都在尋找這款模型.

K: 如此一買一賣, 利潤可觀嗎?
C: 模型其實是資產的一種, 有升值能力的.早於70年代, 買模型就如買樓一樣, 要供的. 同一款的模型, 一年前可以賣出US$400 , 但一年後可以賣出US$1200 .

K: 你覺得橙色空間有否令你安心?
C: 安心! 普遍人都認為最寶貴的東西放在家中才最安心,但我卻將我最寶貴的東西放在橙色空間.

K: 那麼你會否繼續使用橙色空間呢?
C: 當然會! 還會介紹很多朋友使用!

當初,我認識陳生,以為他是租倉放他的心頭好, 沒想到原來是用作”投資”, 而且利潤如此可觀, 難怪陳生買的貨愈來愈多,租用的倉庫愈租愈大.訪問完畢後,陳生向我展示了幾款模型,叫我估其價格,當然我見識淺薄,沒有可能估中, 而他開估後, 嚇得我目瞪口呆, 心想幾個月的糧加起再不吃不用,都無法買起一架…但陳生說已經有外國的買家落訂了…
